She was the second player in W&J women’s water polo history to be named to the CWPA Division III All-Conference first team in 2011 after posting 41 goals and 30 steals as a senior in 2011. The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) named Wieber honorable mention Division III All-America following that stellar season.

For her four-year career at Washington and Jefferson, Katie recorded 76 goals and 32 assists for 108 points, complementing those impressive numbers with 55 steals on the defensive end.

Wieber had served for one season as an assistant water polo coach at Chatham prior to her appointment as head coach.
