Boyertown wins 10th straight; Owen J. Roberts, Spring-Ford sweep

Boyertown 3, Methacton 1 – The PAC Liberty champion Bears stretched their winning streak to 10 by taking care of the Warriors in four sets Friday – 25-22, 26-24, 12-25, 25-20 behind Julia Smith (34 digs, 3 aces), Taylor Jones (17 digs, 13 assists, 10 kills,5 aces), Emily Wolfe (10 kills, 13 digs, 4 blocks) and Emma Ludwig (19 assists, 15 digs, 10 kills.

Stat leaders for Methacton on Senior Night included Emma Eglinton (45 assists, 24 digs), Carli Ginther (29 digs, 4 assists, 2 aces), Lauren Stanley (11 kills, 14 digs, 1 ace, 2 blocks), Hannah O’Donnell (7 digs), Melinda Eglinton (20 kills, 1 dig, 1 block), Sydney Zerbe (13 kills, 4 digs, 1 block), Ali Hazlett (7 kills, 2 digs) and Elly Brunt (14 digs). Hazlett also sang the National Anthem.

Owen J. Roberts 3, Pottsgrove 0 - Michelle Frank (3 Aces, 5 Kills, 1 Block, 15 Digs), Mikayla Johnson (1 Ace, 8 Kills, 1 Block,  10 Digs), Gabi Tamburro (2 Aces, 7 Kills, 2 Digs) and Jordyn Chambers (2 Aces, 1 Kill, 25 Assists, 6 digs) helped the Wildcats sweep 25-17, 25-13, 25-9.

Spring-Ford 3, Norristown 0 - The Rams swept the Eagles 25-16, 25-22, 25-16 on Senior Night as seniors Lauren Beppel (27 assists), Olivia Olsen (15 kills), Grace Kraft (23 digs) and Carolyn Norwicke (8 kills, 13 digs) led the way.

Unionville 3, Phoenixville 2 – Keara Hennessey (24 assists, 5 kills, 5 digs), Kayla Garmmerstorf (14 kills, 3 digs, 2 aces) and Romina Broglia (5 kills, 4 digs) topped the stat sheets in the nonleague five-set loss for the Phantoms, who were unable to hold a 2-1 lead in falling 17-25, 25-14, 24-26, 25-12, 15-10.
