Boys hoops: Phoenixville splits in Wildwood tournament

Fair Lawn (NJ) 66, Phoenixville 46 – The Phantoms fell behind 22-7 after one quarter and 37-19 at the break in their Crest Savings Bank Bracket semifinal loss at the Wildwood (NJ) Boardwalk Classic Sunday.
Steven Hamilton (2 assists, 2-3 on treys) and Clay Kopko (4 rebounds) finished with 9 points each to pace Phoenixville, which also got 6 points apiece from Mike Memmo and Zavier Mayo.
John Burek shot 9-15 from the floor, 4-6 on threes and 10-13 from the free throw line to net a game-high 32 points for Fair Lawn, adding 8 rebounds and 4 assists to his impressive stat line.
