Boys hoops: Pope John Paul II wins 4th straight behind McKeon, Green brothers

Pope John Paul II 60, Upper Merion 47 – The Golden Panthers put it all together in the second half to stretch their winning streak to four Wednesday night, pulling away from a narrow 20-18 halftime lead with a decisive 40-29 run in PAC Frontier action.
PJP, which solidified its place atop the Frontier standings at a perfect 5-0 (9-3 overall), had three players reach double figures while appropriately doing most of their damage in the second half with a combined 34 points.
Drew McKeon hit five three-balls and dropped 13 of his game-high 19 points after the break, and brothers Kevin Green (11 points) and Justin Green (10) rebounded from scoreless first halves to get all of their points in the final 16 minutes.
For the host Vikings, Dom Breece was the lone player in double figures with 11 points.
