Boys lacrosse: Methacton, Upper Merion post season-opening wins

Methacton 15, Boyertown 9 – Justin Sanelli and Gunnar Seaman poured in four goals apiece and combined for six assists to pace the fast-starting Warriors to the season-opening win in PAC boys lacrosse action Tuesday.
For the visiting Bears, who were unable to overcome a 7-4 halftime deficit, Aidan McFalls led the way with four goals and one assist while Lane Yergey and Luke Heimbach contributed two goals each.

Upper Merion 12, Pottsgrove 8 – The Vikings scored six unanswered goals in the fourth quarter to overcome an 8-6 deficit and secure the PAC season-opening win as Carter Besz set the tone with four goals and two assists.
Picking up hat tricks for the visitors were Lincoln Jones and Casey Lamey (two assists) while Rocco Lindelow was stellar in goal with 14 saves.
