Corda's walk-off walk boosts Methacton; Spring-Ford rolls behind McNelly

Methacton 5, Lower Moreland 4, 8 innings – Perry Corda drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Warriors evened their record at 4-4 with the nonleague comeback win Saturday.
Methacton, which got two hits apiece from Corda and Rob Maloney, had forced extra innings when Ryan Sheridan delivered a game-tying two-run single in the sixth inning.
Spring-Ford 7, Council Rock North 3 – Mark McNelly connected for two doubles, driving in two runs and scoring two more, as the Rams overcame a 3-2 deficit with five runs in the bottom of the third while posting the nonleague win.
