Delp, Stump power Pottsgrove by Pottstown; Phoenixville, Upper Perkiomen post nonleague wins (with boxscores)

Pottsgrove 8, Pottstown 3 – Bailey Delp went 4-for-4 with a double and three RBI while Alex Stump chipped in with three hits, three runs and one RBI to carry the Falcons to the PAC Frontier win Friday at Bobby Shantz Field.
Leading 3-2 through five innings, the Grove took charge with two runs in the sixth and three in the seventh.
Ethan McMonagle worked 5 2/3 effective innings for the win before Cameron Mowrey came on for the save with 1 1/3 innings of perfect relief.
For the Trojans, Seth Yergey was 2-for-2 with a pair of RBI and Jimmy O’Donnell went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Upper Perkiomen 4, Pennridge 3 – The Indians took the nonleague decision behind the bat of Hunter Gooch (2 doubles, RBI, run) and arms of winning pitcher Donald States and Justin Wornham, who pitched the final two innings for the save.
