District boys hoops: Perkiomen Valley ousts PAC champ Methacton; Owen J. Roberts falls in OT

(23) Perkiomen Valley 56, (10) Methacton 46 – Kevin Bernabe scored 16, points, Zach Krause had 14 with four treys and Conner McShea chipped in with 10 as the Vikings (13-10) posted the first-round upset of the PAC champion Warriors, ending a 7-game winning streak and Methacton’s season in one fell swoop.
The victory sends Perk Valley Tuesday night (7 pm) to PAC opponent (7) Norristown (16-7, which drew a first-round bye.
For the Warriors, who finish 18-8, David Duda led the way with 18 points and Brett Eberly added 7.

Leading the Wildcats, who used a 12-5 run in the fourth quarter to force the extra session, were Dawson Stuart (18 points, 8 rebounds), Sa’Vaughan Davidheiser (9 points, 5 rebounds) and Sean Praweckyj (9 points, 4-5 FG).
