Field hockey: Corropolese lifts Spring-Ford past Boyertown in OT

Spring-Ford 2, Boyertown 1, OT – Julia Corropolese converted the game-winner off a penalty corner at the 8:31 mark of the first overtime period to lift the Rams to the PAC triumph Friday.
Emma Friend was credited with an assist on the decisive play for Spring-Ford, which had grabbed a 1-0 lead in the fourth quarter when Alyssa Mozi tipped in a Nina Scott shot. The Bears then forced overtime when Alyx Morgan scored on a direct shot off a Katelyn Dulin assist with just 16 seconds left in regulation.
Boyertown goalie Sarah Yoder picked up six saves while Dulin, Lauren Eves, Nina Caprio, Jaz Fink and Mary Catherine Maloney also had solid performances for the Bears.
