Girls hoops: Perkiomen Valley gets revenge on Owen J. Roberts; Pottsgrove drills Pottstown

Perkiomen Valley 38, Owen J. Roberts 33 – The Vikings avenged a 14-point loss earlier this season and kept their District One playoff hopes alive by posting the PAC Liberty win Saturday.
Jen Beattie hit three treys en route to a game-high 15 points and Ella Stein chipped in with 8 for Perk Valley, which held Avery White to 13 points, 8 below her total of 21 in OJR’s 36-22 victory in January. Gabby Koury contributed 10 points for OJR in a losing effort.

Pottsgrove 88, Pottstown 40 – The streaking Falcons set the tone from the jump, racing out to leads of 21-9 and 49-17 after the opening two quarters in securing their fifth straight win in PAC Frontier action.
Justine Fretz knocked down four triples en route to a game-high 18 points for the Grove, heading four double-figures scorers that included Sydney Mowery with 15 and Rachel Ludwig and Riley Simon with 13 each.
For Pottstown, Calista Daye shared game-high scoring honors with Fretz at 18 and Trinell Watson chipped in with 13.
