Girls volleyball: Upper Merion, Boyertown, Spring-Ford record PAC sweeps

Upper Merion 3, Methacton 0 – The Vikings ran the table in the PAC match Monday 30-28, 25-19, 25-19 despite the strong play of Sydney Zerbe (12 kills, 20 digs), Melinda Eglinton (9 kills, 10 digs, 1 block), Elly Brunt (46 digs, 1 assist, 1 ace), Emma Ginther (7 kills, 11 digs) and Madi Roth (32 assists, 6 digs) for the host Warriors.
 
Boyertown 3, Phoenixville 0 – Emma Ludwig (16 assists, 6 kills, 4 digs), Jess Ahart (5 digs, 4 kills), Emily Wolfe (11 kills, 5 digs, 2 blocks), Julia Smith (20 digs) and Adrianna Derstine (7 kills, 2 blocks) were the linchpins for the Bears in their 25-10, 25-18, 25-15 PAC sweep of the Phantoms, who were led by Alexa Grammerstorf (3 kills, 1 dig), Avery Stackhouse (2 kills, 1 ace, 1 dig), Sophia Spoto (10 assists, 2 aces), Riley Daher (3 kills) and LeiLu Campbell (5 digs, 1 ace).
 
Spring-Ford 3, Owen J. Roberts 0 – The Rams celebrated Senior Night with the 25-23, 25-16, 25-22 sweep of the Wildcats behind seniors Paige Rothenberger (11 kills, 4 digs, 2 aces) and Erin McGrann (5 kills, 1 block), juniors Maddie Lebiedzinski (20 digs),  Anoushka Patel (16 assists, 15 digs) and Clarke Gilmore (6 kills) and sophomore Faith Hudon (6 kills). In addition to Rothenberger and McGrann, the third Spring-Ford senior honored was Rylee Clarke, who was unable to play because of a season-ending shoulder injury.
