Male, Spring-Ford stifle Perkiomen Valley; Pottstown, Boyertown post wins

Spring-Ford 2, Perkiomen Valley 1 – Zach Male went the distance, striking out 11 and allowing just two hits and one unearned run as the Rams captured the PAC Liberty victory Wednesday night.
Trailing 1-0 entering the fourth inning, Spring-Ford took the lead for good on RBI from David McCurry and Hunter Curley and Male did the rest in outdueling Vikings ace Tyler Strechay, who pitched a complete game and struck out five in six sharp innings.
 
Pottstown 3, Upper Perkiomen 1 – Dalton Mullen allowed just four hits while striking out four in his complete-game effort to carry the Trojans past the Indians in PAC Frontier action.
Mullen, Jake Eagle and Todd Shadler had the lone hits for Pottstown, with Shadler driving in one run. Malachi Duka drove in the only run for Upper Perk to break up the shutout in the seventh inning.
 
Boyertown 16, Norristown 0, 6 innings – The Bears took no prisoners in their abbreviated demolition of the host Eagles as Nolan Kline pitched five shutout innings for the win and aided his own cause with three hits.
Also picking up three hits apiece for Boyertown were Chris Davis, who drove in five runs, and Shayn Horrocks, who finished with a pair of RBI.
