Olsen, Goodrich help Spring-Ford continue hot start; Jonassen, Hamm key Perkiomen Valley

Spring-Ford 40, Souderton 38 – The Rams (5-0) continued their sizzling start with another impressive win over a tough opponent at the Penncrest Holiday Tournament Wednesday night.
Lucy Olsen and Abby Goodrich combined for 17 points to pace Spring-Ford, which held on after posting a 26-13 edge in the first half to advance to the championship game Thursday (4 pm) against tournament host Penncrest.
For Big Red (5-2), Kate Connelly led all scorers with 22 points.

Perkiomen Valley 54, Olney 21 – Megan Jonassen and Taylor Hamm ruled the interior, combining for 29 points as the Vikings (3-3) rolled to victory at the Ridley Holiday Tournament, setting the tone with a 15-0 edge in the first quarter and another 11-0 run in the third. 
Perk Valley will face the tournament hosts Ridley in the championship game Thursday.

Abby Penjuke collected 18 points, 4 treys and 5 rebounds, Sydney Tornetta posted 6 boards and 5 points and Nicole Cooper added 8 points for Methacton (4-6). Ocean City is now 6-0 on the season.
