(1-4) Owen J. Roberts 10, (12-1) Cardinal O’Hara 1 – The Wildcats (17-8) captured the first state playoff victory in program history with the first-round romp, keyed by seven second-half goals, Bridget Guinan’s hat trick and two-goal outings from Natalie Fuertsch, Jenna Kirby and Maddi Koury.
Up next for OJR, which also three assists from Riley Hansen and a shutout from goalie Cassie Micklesavage (1 saves), in the state quarterfinals Saturday (Time, Site TBD) is (11-1) Emmaus, a 1-0 winner over (1-5) Unionville.
