Pottsgrove completes perfect run through Frontier; Pope John Paul II moves closer to playoff bid

Pottsgrove 1, Phoenixville 0 – The Falcons (10-0 division, 14-4 overall) completed their perfect run through the PAC Frontier Division with the narrow triumph over the Phantoms Thursday
Skylar Glass snapped a scoreless deadlock with 25:00 left off an Avery Makoid assist for the Grove, which got five saves and a clean sheet from keeper Allison Dixon. The goal was the 19th of the season for Glass.
Pottsgrove will face Spring-Ford in the PAC Final Four semifinals Tuesday at Owen J. Roberts (5 pm).

Pope John Paul II 2, Upper Merion 0 – Julie Cherneskie and Delaney Didier scored first-half goals while Anastasia Kormos and Gina Marinelli combined for one save and the shutout in the PAC Frontier shutout triumph for the Golden Panthers. For the Vikings, who were outshot 18-1, Michelle Barrios was stellar in goal with 16 saves.
PJP needs a win over Upper Perk Friday to lock up a berth in the PAC Final Four playoffs.
