Schwartz, Hussin lead Phoenixville boys to sweep; Upper Perkiomen drops 2 to Souderton

Mitchell Schwartz (200 medley relay, 200 free, 100 fly, 200 free relay) and Jack Hussin (200 medley relay, 50 free, 500 free, 200 free relay) were quadruple winners as Phoenixville swept the tri-meet, topping Twin Valley 85-8 and host Coatesville 69-31 Thursday. 
George Pappas (100 back), Dominic Sposato (100 breast), and Nate Smith (Diving, 269.40) also claimed victories for Phoenixville.
In the girls portion of the meet, Phoenixville split with a win over Twin Valley (74-26) and a loss to host Coatesville (68-34). Erin Pappas touched first in the 200 IM and 100 fly to lead the Phantoms, who also got a first-place finish in diving from Mary McNamara (242.50 points). 
Souderton 111, Upper Perkiomen 67 (Boys) – Kevin Kovalenko touched first in the 100 free (51.99) and 100 breast (1:05.29) while Sean Lyman took the top spot in the 500 free (5:02.53) in the nonleague boys’ swimming loss for the Indians.
Souderton 99, Upper Perkiomen 81 (Girls)– The Indians came up short in the nonleague meet despite the efforts of double-winners Noel Fresa and Devin Romanowski. Fresa took the 200 IM (2:15.22) and 100 free (54.41) while Romanowski captured the 50 free (25.89) and 100 back (1:05.71).
