Upper Merion overtakes Boyertown; Spring-Ford sweeps behind Olsen, Kraft, Patel

Upper Merion 3, Boyertown 1 – The Vikings overcame an opening-set 26-24 loss to run the table on the Bears 25-11, 25-20 and 25-15 in the PAC match Thursday night.
Leading the way for Boyertown (2-1, 6-2) were Taylor Jones (10 kills, 4 aces, 9 assists), Emily Wolfe (9 kills, 6 digs, 4 aces, 2 blocks) and Emma Ludwig (11 digs, 11 assists, 2 kills, 2 aces).
 
Spring-Ford 3, Methacton 0 – Olivia Olsen (17 kills, 10 digs, 2 blocks), Grace Kraft (26 digs), Anoushka Patel (19 assists, 9 digs) and Lindsey Dadorian (6 kills, 3 blocks) helped the Rams sweep the tightly-contested PAC match 25-22, 25-21, 25-21.
 
Phoenixville 3, Collegium Charter 0 – The Phantoms swept the nonleague match 25-8, 25-15, 25-15 behind Kayla Grammerstorf (10 kills, 7 aces, 7 digs), Keara Hennessey (25 assists, 5 aces, 2 kills), Romina Broglia (7 kills) and Hayden Perrone (5 digs, 1 ace).
 
Agnes Irwin 3, Owen J. Roberts 0 – Michelle Frank (2 kills, 1 ace), Catherine Cervi (3 blocks) and Mikayla Johnson (2 kills) were the bright spots for the Wildcats in their 25-23, 25-14, 25-23 nonleague setback.
