Winter track: PAC boys earn four firsts; Perkiomen Valley's Warren doubles her pleasure

BETHLEHEM – The Pioneer Athletic Conference boys had a strong showing at Saturday’s TFCA of GP Meet of Champions at Lehigh University.

Perkiomen Valley had a pair of first-place finishers, Cole Peterlin in the high jump (6-5) and Jason Wagner in pole vault (51-5.5). Also recording victories were Boyertown’s Christian McComb in the one-mile run (4:33.66) and Owen J. Roberts’ Scott Honiker in the 60 hurdles (8.10).

Other top PAC finishers at the event included Perkiomen Valley’s Tyler Clifford, who finished second in the 3,000 (9:07.52) and Norristown’s Ramir Wiggins, who took fourth in the 60 hurdles (8.45).

DVGTCA Meet of Champions
Christina Warren of Perkiomen Valley once again dominated the show at Friday’s girls meet at Lehigh University, picking up gold medals in the 60 hurdles (8.72) and triple jump (38-11.25).

Norristown’s Teliyah James also had a strong meet, placing second in the 200 (25.86) and third in the 60 (7.85).

The PAC ruled the pole vault competition with Methacton’s Nickolina Annelli and Camaryn Rodriguez placing second and third with respective vaults of 11-3 and 11-0 to finish just ahead of fourth-place Brooke Corson of Owen J. Roberts (10-6).

The final PAC competitor with a top five finish was Perkiomen Valley’s Delaney O’Sullivan, who was fifth in the one-mile run with a time of 5:24.14.
