5 Owen J. Roberts senior student/athletes headed to the next level

 
 
Five Owen J. Roberts senior student/athletes (3 girls, 2 boys), representing four different scholastic sports and headed to NCAA Division II and III levels, recently announced their college destinations at a signing event at the high school attended by coaches, teammates and family.

Why did you choose this school? “I chose West Chester University because I loved both the campus and the softball program.”
Reflections on high school season/career: “My high school career has been so much fun because I have been able to play with my best friends and be successful at the same time.”
Goals/expectations for college career: “My goal is to receive some playing time my freshman year and to push myself working out personally and at practice.”

Why did you choose this school? “It felt like home right when I saw it.”
Reflections on high school season/career: “I got to be a part of a special group one last time. All the work we put in during the off-season had us prepared for one of the best seasons in OJR history."
Goals/expectations for your college career: “Win my college’s division and make it to the NCAA tournament.”

Goals/expectations for college career: “My goal is to work my way into the starting lineup early on and create a place for myself within the team. I want to contribute to a strong team and achieve great things at the collegiate level.”
