Why did you choose this school? “I knew from the moment I stepped on the campus for the first time that Harvard was where I wanted to go. All the players and coaches who are part of that program show so much passion for the game while still creating a great family atmosphere. That in combination with the amazing academic opportunities became an offer I could never pass up.”

Reflections on high school career: “My field hockey career at Methacton has been filled with so many incredible memories. I have had the opportunity to play with some of the most talented and overall amazing groups of girls who have become some of my best friends. Together we have made District and State runs, performed exceptionally throughout entire seasons, and won league championships. These teammates and coaches have elevated me to receive honors I would not have achieved without them and have made me into the player and person I am today. My career has been unforgettable, and for that I am incredibly grateful.”

Other comments (people to thank): “I would like to thank my entire family for the endless support they have showed me all these years. I thank my parents for never missing a game, driving me to every tournament and showcase, and teaching me everything I would ever need to know on and off the field. Thanks to my sister for giving me someone to look up to for my entire life and showing me how to never give up. Thank you Pop Pop for being my biggest fan and never missing a game. Thanks to all of my teammates for always supporting me and giving me an amazing group of friends. I also want to thank all of my coaches, Coach Quintois, Coach Harris, Coach Leap, Coach Cam, Coach Erin, Coach Beth, Coach Terri Cameron, and Coach Katelyn for shaping me into the person I am today. Thank you Conchi for making the Viperdome my home away from home for the past 10 years. The memories I have made at Viper will last a lifetime. Finally, I want to thank Coach Tjerk for believing in me and inviting me to become a part of his Harvard family.”
